NOTE: Individual charities represented by the United Way are not included in this index. The charities in the 2008 SECA Book are listed alphabetically by county.

Search Engine Assistance

This search engine will search for all or part of a word. For example, if you were to search for the word child, you would recieve charities with the word, child or children in their name or description. The matching word will be highlighted in red.

You can also use the boolean feature to select between AND, OR or and exact match. With the AND feature, the search engine will return results with all words you entered. For example, if you entered - child AIDS. The results of the search will return Charities that have both the word child and the word AIDS in their title or description.

Using the same example with the OR feature, the results would be any charity which dealt with child or AIDS.

The exact match requires the entered phrase to be in the title or the description.
