Earth Share of Illinois represents leading nonprofit environmental and conservation charities working across Illinois, the nation, and in numerous countries overseas to protect human health and the environment. Through the generosity of individuals at the workplace, Earth Share's members are helping locally, nationally, and globally every day to:

• Work with corporations, government and agencies to help curb greenhouse gas emissions and lessen the impact of industry on Global Warming;
• Protect the public from pollution and toxic substances that effect our health;
• Plant millions of trees that help clean our air, reduce topsoil erosion, and provide homes for wildlife;
• Clean up beaches, rivers, lakes, and parks;
• Increase energy efficiency, helping the environment and the economy; and
• Save endangered species, like the California condor and giant panda and their habitats, including wetlands, rainforests, canyon lands, and coral reefs.

While we have achieved much, more remains to be done. Your support will help Earth Share of Illinois' member charities continue and expand their efforts to fend off threats to our environment, our health, and our future.
